A Strategic and Compassionate Plan of Evangelism for the People of Nicaragua

Compassion To The Nations is currently developing another website at the following domain:

http://compassiontothenations.com/

This new website is a "work in progress" as it is currently under construction.

Give lasting hope and a future to a child!

Children can experience true Life when they know

Jesus the Christ the Messiah as Lord!

Child Sponsorship Ensures Each Child Receives the Following:

  1. Annual School Matriculation, Monthly Tuition, and Required Examination Fees
  2. School Uniform and Shoes. (Shoes are usually replaced or repaired once during the year due to the wear and tear of walking to school on rough roads.)
  3. School Backpack
  4. All School Supplies (Textbooks, Notebooks, Pencils, and Paper) Throughout the Year
  5. Daily Meal at School
  6. The opportunity to gain an education that far surpasses what is available in the government schools and to meet Jesus through the study of God's Word and interaction with Christian teachers
  7. Valiant Children's Club - Participation and Materials and Activities designed to bring each child to a point where he/she chooses to know Jesus the Christ the Messiah as Lord and Savior.

As God Provides for the Needs of the Ministry of Compassion To The Nations (MCN), we also provide the following to students each year:

  • Basic Personal Hygiene Supplies (Deodorant, Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Treatment for Lice, etc...)
  • Gift of Recognition for the Student
  • Provision of Food and Basic Household Supplies for the Family of the Student

Ways to Help Give Hope and a Future to Children in Nicaragua:

  1. Pray and Intercede for the Children, Teachers, Volunteer Workers, and Paid Workers

  2. Sponsor a Child for $12 USD per month or $144 USD per year!

  3. Make a donation of any amount toward the goals of this project.

  4. Go to Nicaragua and serve 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks in this ministry.

The New Life Child Sponsorship program in Nicaragua began in 2009 with 43 children and currently sponsors 70 students of various ages.

Many children remain without a personal sponsor for the current academic year!

Many Nicaraguan children remain in their homes or in the streets without an opportunity for a decent education because they do not have a sponsor, and their families do not have money to pay the expenses required to send the children to a school.

The sponsorship program makes it possible for a child to go to school and receive both an academic and a Christian education.

Escuela Cristiana Nueva Vida

(New Life Christian School)

Escuela Cristiana Nueva Vida accepted the challenge and responsibility in 2009 to educate these new students who have little or no prior education.

Stewart and Luvi ask that you PRAY for the children and all who are involved in their lives.  They also hope and believe that many people will choose to individually sponsor a child for $12 USD per month $144 USD per year.

If you would like to be a sponsor but can't afford to give $12 USD per month, you are encouraged to partner with another individual or family.  In other words, two individuals or two families can each contribute $6 USD per month to jointly sponsor the same child.  With a partner, your contribution is just $72 USD per year!

Stewart and Luvi, who currently live and serve in the United Arab Emirates, started this program of child sponsorship in Nicaragua by making an initial commitment to educate 7 children in Ciudad Sandino who were not in a school!

God has greatly blessed Stewart, Luvi, and their children (Bani, Elias, and Luvi Mercedes).  In obedience and with much gratitude for their blessings, the Braswell family desires to be a blessing to others.  The Lord has provided our own three children an opportunity for an education in the United Arab Emirates, and they would like to help provide other children in Nicaragua with an opportunity for an education in their home country that includes the opportunity to study God's Word.

You have an opportunity to partner with other sponsors through prayer and financial contributions and service to change the future of the people of Nicaragua by educating their children of today.

Your contributions for sponsorship are for the children.  Stewart and Luvi are not soliciting money for their personal needs.

They are genuinely providing an opportunity for you to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission by providing a Christian education to a child.  You can be a witness for this child and his/her family.

These children are not nameless faces posted on the Internet.  Before moving to the United Arab Emirates, Luvi and the children (Bani, Luvi Mercedes, and Elias) also lived in Ciudad Sandino.  Thus, the Braswell Family has carefully chosen the children of families in the neighborhood who have the greatest need to receive the life-changing sponsorship for education.

Many children in Ciudad Sandino will not receive any form of education, biblical training, opportunity to know Christ, or preparation for the future without someone caring enough to commit to give $12 USD a month.

The Valiant Children's Club meets every Saturday on the MCN base of ministry in Ciudad Sandino.

Some of the planned activities of the Valiant Children's Club are as follows:

  • Bible Teaching With Practical Application
  • Arts and Crafts or Sports Activity
  • Hot Lunch

Are you interested in helping the children of Nicaragua?

Can you sponsor a child for about .39 cents per day or $12 USD per month or $144 USD per year?

Are you interested in giving a hope and a future to a child who will not have an education without your help?

Are you interested in seeing one less child on the streets of Nicaragua and one more child in a classroom?

Are you interested in seeing the Kingdom of God advanced in Nicaragua by giving a child the opportunity to hear God's Word and to know Jesus as Lord?

Are you interested in praying for the souls of the children in our sponsorship program and for those children who lack a sponsor?

Are you interested in knowing that you are actively demonstrating your faith and care for others by making the sacrifice to help someone who lacks a future without your assistance?  Is it a sacrifice for you to sponsor a child?  If yes, I won't promise you riches, but I can say that it pleases God when we show care to one of these children.  If God enables you to sponsor more than one child, you are encouraged to do so.  We have an awesome opportunity to make a true difference in the future of these children.  Their future begins now!

"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'"

May the Lord find us faithful. May we be counted as His sheep.
